Nordstrom Anniversary Sale: Clothes, Shoes, Jewelry & Beauty

If you haven’t heard, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is happening right now with it already open to all cardholders! However, if you’re like me and don’t have a Nordstrom credit card, we’ll have to wait until August 19 and the sale continues until August 30. I don’t think I’ve ever shopped this particular sale before although I know it’s popular one!

I only recently committed to myself to buy better quality clothes even if it means a higher price tag. Most of my life, I’ve worn fast fashion so this is a big jump for me. BUT I also haven’t shopped for any clothing or shoes in a long time. I don’t think I’ve shopped for clothes in months… and where would I wear the clothes?!

All this to say… Don’t go out of your way for this if you can’t afford it or don’t need anything. It’s a crazy time in terms of income and job security so don’t let social media make you think you NEED to go to shopping right now. We’re all on our own paths to stop shopping fast fashion and it’s ok if you’re not there right now!

Let’s talk the sale!

I added everything to my “Wishlist” and I’m revisiting it every few days to make sure I actually NEED all of these items but I did want to show you my finds! Most of the clothing I found is for when I go back to work but can easily be incorporated into a chic everyday look. I’m also looking for updated/newer versions to replace something I already have.

If the sale is not available to you yet, just add things to your Wishlist and once the sale is open. You can select all and add everything to your bag to checkout! It’s super simple and takes just a few minutes instead of adding items one by one to the cart before they sell out! Another thing to keep in mind is that they WILL add some items back after they sell out so just keep a tab on those items before the sale.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Tops

1. Halogen Long Sleeve Modal Blend Tee – Not part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale but already on sale for under $16 if you want instant gratification! This top would be great for fall and winter but also lightweight enough for those of us living in LA! I’m all about the lightweight and breathable fabrics year-round. This top seems like a steal at the price point.
2. Halogen Hidden Button Long Sleeve Blouse – Again, not part of the Anniversary Sale but it is on sale now for under $32! Love the non-stiff button down tops for work and I want one in Black, White, and Floral!
3. Commando Butter Scoop Neck Bodysuit – I don’t own any bodysuits but love the idea of not fussing about tucking a shirt in.
4. Vince Camuto Knit Back V-Neck Top – Another perfect work top! It could be great alone or under a blazer or cardigan.
5. Gibson Notch Collar Cotton Blend Blazer – Speaking of blazers, this is a soft and comfortable blazer that still looks professional.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Lounge and Activewear

1. BP. Jogger Pants / BP. Fleece Roll Cuff Shorts (not pictured) – These are pretty self-explanatory! I’m usually in leggings or lounge pants all day so I wanted to add a few more to my collection.
2. Zella Body Fusion Sports Bra – I’ve had most of my sports bras for years so it’s time for an upgrade!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Bottoms

1. BLANKNYC Suede Miniskirt – I love this A-line skirt. It’s structured but doesn’t seem uncomfortable and it seems like it will go with a lot of tops!
2. BLANKNYC The Great Jones Ripped Ankle Skinny Jeans – I don’t have any high waisted jeans in this wash and these don’t have too many rips and holes but just enough.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Shoes

1. Steve Madden Forever Chain Pointed Toe Mule – I love the look of slides but don’t have a pair. These in black seemed like the perfect ones.
2. Steve Madden Nadalie Pointed Toe Bootie – I wear my black booties all the time. When I was traveling for work / going into an office, I literally wore them everyday! Might be time for a new pair or a new color…
3. Sam Edelman Davis Knee High Boot – Living in LA, I don’t really NEED boots but I do visit Colorado a lot. I have a pair but they’re a few years old and more of a shiny faux leather material.
4. Steve Madden Nifty Pointed Toe Over the Knee Boot – Love the look of Stuart Weitzman thigh-high boots and these are a similar look for a LOT less!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Jewelry and Beauty

1. Nordstrom 2ct tw Cubic Zirconia Earrings – If you ever see me out, I’m probably wearing my one and only pair of cubic zirconia earrings. I’ve had for who knows how long… so it’s probably time to upgrade.
2. Kendra Scott Davis Drop Earrings – Same as above. I really only wear 2 pairs of earrings so it’s time for a change!
3. Mario Badescu The Essentials Set – I’ve recently gotten into sprays and love them! You also can’t wrong with the Drying Lotion, it’s great for active breakouts. (Also I apparently can’t have too many lip balms!)
4. MOROCCANOIL Home & Away Hair Care Set – After I wash my hair, I always use leave-in conditioner or oil so this is a no brainer!
